Walls covered with signed Seahawks pictures from players over the years and the same fresh baked bread smell upon walking in for nearly the last 40 years in the greater Seattle area, Sarducci's Specialty Subs is a local favorite of the Houghton crew. New owner Sean, is the son of former owner (and Houghton legend) J.R. who recently retired. Sean has owned and managed other Seattle area Sarduccis and has now made his move back to the eastside to take over and be closer to family.

Sarducci's, like many other area restaurants, had to change their work environment under the new Washington state COVID guidelines. They are open for take out, with the option of outdoor seating as of Phase 2. All of the employees wear face masks and gloves at all times. They have upgraded their credit card reader to a contact-free machine in order to provide "untact" customer service.They have also installed a sneeze guard on the countertop to protect air contamination. All of the employees strictly follow practices recommended by health officials - social distancing, increased hand washing, regular cleaning and disinfecting surfaces. They even have a hand sanitizer handy for all employees and customers at request. They also make sure to increase air circulation by opening the door throughout the day, which can dilute and reduce virus particles inside. 

One of the newest upgrades to Sarducci's transactions is having an independent, online ordering system ready via their website www.sarducci.com so that customers can minimize their time in-store as well as for a prompt service. Using their direct site also helps maximize the contributions to the small business without having to use a third-party currier system.
