Navin "Bean" Wobker
CMO

The Chief Morale Officer (CMO) was born in San Diego and was adopted by Ben and Sara from Rescue Every Dog. He was a beagle & lab mix. Navin was the first LWPT dog and enjoyed water, chasing a tennis ball, and eating…he was a lab. You likely saw him in and out of the clinic as he took walks in the afternoon with Sara. He had goals of working as a therapy dog but was always a little to anxious. He is survived by his sister Dagny.

Dagny was born in June of 2014 and quickly went to work as a therapy dog beginning her training at 8 weeks. She has ben mentored by her brother Navin in hopes of grooming her for his retirement from the role in the future. She was a rescue from a Missouri kill shelter brought to the Northwest by K.A.R.E.

Wickett joined the team in Houghton in summer of 2017. She enjoys chewing, preventing Matt and Kelli from sleeping, and getting aquainted with her co-workers.

Archie Jackson
BOO: Bovine Organizational Officer

Archie the cattle dog joined the LWPT team in Winter of 2020 and has been working diligently to improve his hiking endurance and ball chasing capacity. His favorite hobbies include herding his fellow colleagues at the dog park, napping in front of the fireplace, and protecting the house from birds and squirrels. He and his best bud, Nick Jackson, love to hike and run together and they even share the same birthday!

Reuben O’Connell
Puppy in Training

Reuben is a German shorthair pointer. He was born on feb 29 and is a leap year baby. He was named after Megan and Zachs fav ballard brewery Reuben’s. He is the 4th GSP in the Oconnell family. His sister is also apart of the Oconnell family and lives with Megan’s parents. Once he is old enough he is going to be Megan’s running buddy and hiking buddy. Right now he loves playing with his family members, other pups and toys.

The Canine Napping Optimizer was born oustide of Seattle and adopted by Heidi Biehl from the Seattle Humane Society. He is a Plott hound and Lab mix. Saxon enjoys short walks and is in the process of house training.

Echo joined our team in Kirkland in 2021 as a COVID puppy and quickly trained into our Monday and Wednesday back office therapy dog.

Mogul Sturtevant
Alpine Ambassador

This is Mogul, LWPT’s Alpine Ambassador. He moved in with his parents Katie and Chris in April 2021 and will turn 1 on Valentine’s Day. He loves playing fetch - especially in the rain and snow! When no one will throw the ball for him he will search the house to bring you an article of your own clothing, then plays keep away. His dream is to go snowboarding with his parents and ride a ski lift!

Bodhi Johnson
Ball Manager

Bodhi is the manager of all things ball in West Seattle. He has a great back yard run where he oversees all things round while also keeping rabbits from attacking the home. Don’t be surprised to see April out walking him in the neighborhoods and waterfront in the West Seattle neighborhoods.


Bane Graham
HRM: Human Food Resource Manager

Bane is a middle age Rottweiler-Doberman rescue that enjoys chasing everything from rabbits to flies. He enjoys joining Taylor on her running outings and going on long swims after ducks despite calls for him to come back. He is an only child dog and has trained his family very well that the last bite of toast belongs to him, make all the difference.

Nala Barrie

Nala is a vizsla born on Feb 10th 2019, and came into Kimmy and Michael Barrie’s life shortly after. She is an avid frisbee enthusiast, because frisbee is life. She loves running and was once clocked at 32mph. Although she is active, she loves napping and can sleep more than all 3 of her humans combined. She is also known as “wiggle butt” and is super excited to meet anyone who gives her tummy rubs.

Hamilton Kollar
LDM: Large Dog Manager

Hamilton is a big friendly giant who loves to cuddle with and slobber on his friends. He enjoys going on walks, sniffing all the bushes and playing tug of war. He gets along very well with everyone he meets and is great with kids and other dogs too. The distinguished gentleman was born in September of 2019 and was rehomed to Victor and his wife Jenn in late January 2022. Personal space is not in his vocabulary and he is a leaner weighing in at a modest 125 lbs! Rumor has it he is also related to Russell Wilson and Clint Dempsey's Great Danes too!

Anti Squirrel Defense Coordinator or Director of Sleeping

Gryffin who works out of our Redmond office quickly earned two titles with our team. Both squirrel defense and showing the clinicians the importance of sleep.

Chaco Bean Wulff
CCO (Chief Cuddle Office

Chaco was connected to Devin through Angels 2 The Rescue, a foster-based non-profit agency whose sole purpose is to save the lives of dogs in need. His adoption papers list him as a German Shorthaired Pointer Mix, but his parents aren’t too sure what he is mixed with. Chaco was rescued from a kill shelter and now spends his days sunbathing, “burying” his bones in the couch, and running with Devin before work.

Finn Simonds
VHS Ret. Very Heavy Security Pawfficer

Finn is a 110lb American Black and Tan German Shepherd. He is now in the geriatric phase of his life and retired from his role as the family security escort out on the PNW trails. With healthy hips, he continues to enjoy patrolling the family farm and cuddle close to members of his pack; most recently his little nephew.

Remote Oxytocin Spec. (Ret.)

Pele` is a black lab mix that enjoys long walks with Annika and her family. She also has several colleagues at the clinic which she enjoys Dagny, Tenzi, and Saxon. Pele' will be missing Annika while she is away at Washington University in St. Louis completing her doctorate in PT.

Rusty has the most seniority of all of our animals on our page. He enjoyed short walks, naps, sleeping, and eating. He didn't enjoy the company of other dogs or the busy streets of Kirkland. Our team and Megan lost Rusty in 2018. RIP Big Fella.

Student Dog PT

Milo joined the Houghton LWPT team in fall of 2018. He is currently training and working on ambulation on a leash, learning to sit with good posture, and sleeping through the night. He was rescued by Kelly McGivern.

Honey and Winston Tharrington, SWATT: Squirrel Watchers and Treat Tasters  

Honey and Winston joined the downtown Kirkland team in June 2020.  They are 3-year-old half sibling golden retrievers who recently travelled with their pawrents Manny and Bryce in a compact RV across the country from North Carolina.  Winston is a mama’s boy, desperate for belly rubs and tennis balls and Honey is Miss Independent with a top-secret need for snuggles.  They enjoy running free, chasing squirrels and all of the treats in the world.

Nellie joined the Kirkland team in 2022 as the rescue pup of Ben Clark. She enjoys treats, a good dog toy, and long walks. Nellie is very calm and enjoys being held.

Finley Hazlehurst

Finley Hazlehurst, Assistant CMO (Ret.)

The Assistant Chief Morale Officer (aCMO) was born oustide of Seattle and adopted by Kelsea Hazlehurst. She is a pure bread golden retriever. Finley enjoys chewing toys, trash, and anything else that will fit in her mouth. She is almost house trained.

Lucy joined the team at LWPT earlier than expected creating tension with the current FR (feline relations) chair. Despite her slight demeanor she is quite territorial and will push back when she is pushed.

Shawn-Spencer Chollar


MPPH (Masters in Puppy Public Health)

Shawn was born in Olympia, WA in 2019 and adopted by Olivia and her husband, Cameron. He attended StanFur University where he learned his passions for eating peanut-butter, yoga, and physical therapy. Shawn is now pursuing his DPT (doctorate in paws therapy) and hopes to help spread health and happiness to everyone he meets (except for the mailman).
