Alyssa grew up in Edmonds, Washington and attended Edmonds-Woodway High School. Inspired by her parents, both NAIA national champions at PLU, she played a multitude of sports growing up: running, soccer, basketball, softball, and more. Her admiration for physical therapy started at a young age: a lifelong connection to musclo-skeletal disabilities, sports injuries, exercise, and community service drew her to the field. Her favorite aspect of physical therapy is watching how relationships and movement can inspire lifelong change and create community.

While she is home for the year, she is planning on enjoying all the PNW has to offer and to give back to the town that raised her. She is volunteer coaching at Edmonds-Woodway’s cross-country and track program this year.
